Creating a new miracle is a truly wonderful thing, which deserves to be celebrated.
A Maternity Photo Shoot is the perfect way to document this special journey, and you will love to share the memories with your child.
Maternity sessions take place ideally when you are between 30-36 weeks pregnant, and bump is a good shape
To help me understand your aims for your resulting portraits we arrange a phone call or Zoom before booking to discuss styling, the setup and to answer any questions you may have. I want you to be excited for your session, and I will try my best to bring your vision to life.

Your photo shoot will last around an hour, and it will either take place at the studio, or at a pre-arranged outdoor location.
The photo session includes use of my client wardrobe of beautiful dresses and gowns.
We will have discussed beforehand what styling you have in mind for your session, so any props/outfits etc will be all ready for you.
NERVOUS?
Not feeling your best? Not camera ready? Just a bit nervous? I get it. I understand IT ALL.
Most clients have feelings of nerves/being unsure when booking a maternity session. Afterall, how often do you do things for yourself? Probably not very often. You are asking whether you should invest in a pregnancy photo shoot, and are worried about getting undressed etc.
Please let me reassure you that over the 9 years I have been doing this I have met and put at ease hundreds of expectant ladies. About 99% of those ladies were nervous beforehand! But left feeling positive and telling me how much they enjoyed it!
You get to choose your vibe – whether you want to borrow a fancy gown, wear jeans/shirt or just underwear, it is up to you! You can even have a mix of all if you can’t decide.
If you would prefer to come to the studio to meet me first, then that is absolutely fine, just pop me a message to arrange!

Her cosy home studio set up is beautiful. My pictures are beyond stunning. She helped me in and out of outfits. Provided a comfort seat, a fan and refreshments when I wasn’t feeling to well.
Took some pictures sitting down when my hips began to ache. She made both me and my partner feel so comfortable and I can not express how incredible this experience was. I will definitely be returning. I would recommend this woman and her talent until I was blue in the face.

Full Maternity Experience (1-2 hours)
A deluxe experience, fully bespoke to your requirements.
The main focus is on you and on your bump, but also including partner and sibling images too.
The session involves using creative techniques, beautiful gowns and fabrics.
The 1-2 hour session allows plenty of time for several outfit changes, resting in between and posing with your family.
Expect a mixture of images of you and bump, you and partner, you and siblings, plus all together.
The Full Experience includes a Viewing Appointment, so you can choose your images yourself from the comfort of your home.
Packages start from £295.
Mini Maternity Session (30 minutes)
A simple experience with one outfit choice and for mum only.
Wear your own outfit or choose one of my gowns/fabrics.
The all inclusive price for this session is £95 and includes 3 digital images.
* please note that this session does NOT include partner or sibling photographs, and does not have a Viewing Appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I book a Maternity session?
A maternity session is a very special photoshoot, and a once in a lifetime experience as each pregnancy is unique.
It is your chance to capture your body doing something amazing, and to celebrate bringing a new life into the world.
Can we be in the photos too?
You don’t have to, as I have a lovely range of dresses and fabrics in my studio wardrobe.
However some ladies like to bring their own choice of dresses/underwear, and that is absolutely fine.
It is your shoot, and I want you to be comfortable and to enjoy it. The resulting photos will be very special to you.
We will have a chat either before booking or you can state your preferences on your questionnaire. That way I can work with you to bring your vision to life.
Will you edit my photos?
Yes, I will edit all images in your final gallery before presenting them to you.
I sympathetically edit skin, remove anything you want removed e.g. spots, soften wrinkles etc. I don’t do harsh skin edits unless you want me to as I like to keep my photos as natural as possible.
Can I choose my own images?
The Mini Maternity session is a budget friendly option, which is great but there are some limitations. One being that you do not choose your own images, but rely on my expertise and judgement in selecting your best three images. I may show you a ‘back of camera’ preview during the session to get an idea though.
If you would like the opportunity to choose your own images then please book a Full Maternity session, as this includes a Viewing Appointment.
I don't know whether to pick a mini or full experience?
